

Steve Gryb is a nationally recognized and innovative award-winning guitarist, multi-percussionist, jazz and
contemporary music educator, lecturer, clinician, author, endorser, and musicologist with over
25 years experience entertaining audiences of all ages with a wide variety of musical
shows. He is often called "The Pied Piper of Percussion,"
"Dr. Rock," and "The Music Professor."
Steve Gryb has developed a unique "edutainment" approach for his performances, which stresses entertainment and
education. His 5 different musical shows are in constant demand year-round at major
festivals, indoor and outdoor concert series, schools, and private events through the
United States and cover a wide range of musical styles.

Steve received both his Master of Music
degree in Jazz Pedagogy, and his Bachelor of Music degree in Studio Music and Jazz from
the University of Miami.
"The Music Professor" is a
well-deserved nickname for Steve since he has taught a wide variety of music courses at
Miami-Dade Community College, Florida International University, the University of Miami,
and is currently teaching courses in Jazz, Blues, Traditional and Contemporary Music, at
Barry University.
